Barry Graves

Community Health Program Coordinator

Barry Graves serves as a Community Health Program Coordinator at the HSC, coordinating health screening events and sharing health services information with individuals who may have limited or no access to quality healthcare. Through his role, Barry helps bring important health resources directly into the communities that need them.

Barry is credentialed through the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians and brings a passion for connecting with people and making a meaningful difference in their healthcare. He joined the HSC in the spring of 2026.

Having grown up in rural South Carolina, Barry understands the challenges that can come with limited access to healthcare. After living in Charleston for more than 20 years, he was drawn to the HSC because of its commitment to serving the community, including rural areas where healthcare may not be readily accessible. What he enjoys most about his work is meeting new people and knowing that he can play a role in improving someone’s health and quality of life.

Barry approaches his work with a commitment to serving others with kindness and giving his best, even when no one is watching.

Outside of work, Barry enjoys spending his free time outdoors.
