Behavioral Health and
Peer Support Services
The Behavioral Health Department at Roper St. Francis Health Services Center provides compassionate, confidential, and patient-centered services designed to support emotional wellness, strengthen resilience, and improve overall quality of life. As part of our behavioral and mental health services, we offer individual and family psychotherapy, behavioral health assessments, personalized treatment planning, care coordination, and referrals for psychiatric care and other specialized services.
We also offer educational and supportive groups that provide opportunities for connection, shared learning, encouragement, and personal growth. Our peer navigation team provides practical, nonjudgmental support to help patients overcome barriers, access community resources, strengthen medication adherence and healthcare engagement, and feel more connected throughout their care journey. Together, these services support the emotional, social, and healthcare needs of individuals living with or at risk for HIV.
