Grants Accounting Assistant

Michele O. Smith is one of our amazing Grants Accounting Assistant that is responsible for Revenue. She graduated with her BS from Buffalo State College, Buffalo NY and has an 8-year tender with Roper St. Francis, prior to being employed at MUSC for 8 years. Michele really enjoys being behind tthe scenes working for our patients. In her spare time, Michele loves baking, cooking, and spending time with family. “After researching the RWWC I just knew this was an organization that I wanted to be a part of this team. A team that helps, heals, listens, and the community outreach that is done for the patients made my decision very easy.” says Michele. She has a big heart dedicated to helping others and proud of her compassionate trait! Her best piece of advice is, “Continue to climb even when the altitude gets thick...that means you're close to the top! So, keep climbing baby!”
