Grants Accounting Specialist

Shantell Chapman, born and raised in Charleston/North Charleston, SC, is the Ryan White Wellness Center's Grant Accounting Assistant specializing in Accounts Payable. She ensures that the center's bills are accurate, processed and paid in a timely manner. She receives invoices, tracks, records, reviews them for accuracy, and processes them for payment. She is also our Patient Cell Phone Coordinator, working with our case managers to make sure that patients who need cellphones for communication, appointment reminders, etc. receives one. Shantell attended College of Charleston for a short time but earned her Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a minor in Accounting from Strayer University. She loves cooking (and does it well), smiling and traveling.
